Basil Gin Smash
A vibrant Gin Collins variation, this drink sings with fresh basil, bright lemon, and the crisp botanicals of gin, lengthened with a splash of soda for ultimate refreshment.
Ingredients
- 2 oz London Dry Gin
- 0.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 oz Simple syrup
- 4-5 Fresh basil leaves
- 2 oz Soda water
Instructions
- Gently muddle the basil leaves in the bottom of a shaker.
- Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker with ice.
- Shake well until thoroughly chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with soda water and gently stir to combine.
