A bright, energetic Tequila Daisy that has a 98% success rate of getting a guy's attention... or at least a second round.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Tequila Blanco
- 0.75 oz Lime juice
- 0.75 oz Agave nectar
- 3 Blackberries
- 1 pinch Sea salt
Instructions
- Muddle the blackberries in the bottom of your shaker until pulverized.
- Add the tequila, lime juice, agave, and salt.
- Shake with plenty of ice and double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Glassware: Rocks
Garnish: A single mint sprig and a blackberry
History
Based on the Margarita (Daisy) formula from Cocktail Codex, using muddled fruit to achieve a deep 'First Edition' pink hue. The salt enhances the citrus—it's the law of flavor.
