Ingredients
- 2 oz Aged rum
- 0.75 oz Fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz Demerara syrup
- 3 Medium strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 4-5 oz Ginger beer
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions
- In a Japanese-style highball glass, gently muddle the strawberries.
- Add the aged rum, lime juice, and demerara syrup to the glass.
- Fill the glass about two-thirds full with crushed ice.
- Swizzle vigorously with a bar spoon until the glass is well-frosted.
- Top with more crushed ice and ginger beer.
- Float the Angostura bitters on top.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a strawberry slice.
