Espresso Martini (Please, Please, Please)
Technically a modern classic Martini riff that’s rich, dark, and caffeinated enough to keep you up through the whole set.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Fresh Espresso
- 0.75 oz Coffee Liqueur
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake hard—you want a thick layer of crema on top.
- Strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass.
Glassware: Martini Glass
Garnish: Three espresso beans and a light spritz of saline for focus.
History
A riff on Dick Bradsell’s 1980s legend, which is essentially the official drink of the Short n' Sweet era. It's the ultimate 'I'm working late' beverage.
