I Know
A split-base Whiskey Sour variant that’s as smooth and charming as a smuggler’s reply to a princess in a Cloud City carbon-freezing chamber.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Cognac
- 0.75 oz Lemon juice
- 0.75 oz Simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 Egg white
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice and shake vigorously (dry shake) to aerate the egg white.
- Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Express an orange peel over the surface and discard.

Garnish: Orange zest expressing (discarded)
