Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.75 oz Blackberry Demerara Syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Mezcal rinse (optional)
Instructions
- If using, rinse a chilled coupe or rocks glass with mezcal and discard the excess. Set aside.
- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, blackberry demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters in a shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously until well-chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
- Double strain into the prepared glass (or a fresh, chilled glass if not doing the rinse).
- Garnish and serve.
