Rocky's Xenonite
This Manhattan-style cocktail is a tribute to Rocky, the Eridian engineer, and the incredibly tough xenonite material of his ship. It's a strong, stirred drink with an unexpected, complex herbal depth, much like Rocky's character.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz Aged Rhum Agricole
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 0.25 oz Green Chartreuse
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions
- Combine rye whiskey, aged rhum agricole, sweet vermouth, Green Chartreuse, and Angostura bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir well until thoroughly chilled and diluted, about 30-45 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
- Garnish with a Luxardo maraschino cherry.
