Sunset Planter's Punch
A vibrant, fruity punch that captures the last rays of sun, with deep rum notes and a zesty, bittersweet finish.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Aged rum
- 1 oz Fresh orange juice
- 0.5 oz Fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz Grenadine
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 4 -50 oz Soda water (to top)
Instructions
- In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the aged rum, fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice, grenadine, and Angostura bitters.
- Stir well to fully incorporate all ingredients.
- To serve, fill a Japanese-style highball glass with ice.
- Pour 4-5 oz of the rum mixture over the ice.
- Top with 4-5 oz of soda water and stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a Luxardo maraschino cherry.
