Ingredients
- 2 oz Aged Rum
- 0.25 oz Demerara Syrup
- 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
- 0.25 oz Mezcal (for rinse)
Instructions
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with mezcal, discarding any excess.
- Combine aged rum, demerara syrup, and black walnut bitters in a mixing glass with a large ice cube.
- Stir well until perfectly chilled and diluted, about 30 seconds.
- Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large, fresh ice cube.
- Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink by twisting it, then discard or add as garnish.
