The Fire Flower
A vibrant, spicy take on a Tequila Daisy that brings the heat of a Red Flower to your palate.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- 0.75 oz Lime juice
- 0.75 oz Orange liqueur
- 0.5 oz Raspberry jam
- 2 dashes Habanero bitters
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously to ensure the jam is fully incorporated and the drink is well-chilled.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass to remove fruit solids.
- Express an orange peel over the top and discard.

Garnish: A single floating Thai chili or a flamed orange twist
History
This riff on the Margarita/Daisy family uses raspberry jam to achieve a bright 'Fire Flower' red without the cloying sweetness of modern grenadines. The habanero provides that necessary 'power-up' kick.
