  1. Add Mezcal, lime, and ginger syrup to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake briefly to chill.
  3. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with soda water and a couple of dashes of bitters for depth.

History

A Mezcal Collins variation reminiscent of the modern craft classics found in the PDT book. The ginger adds a bite that matches Napoleon's temper perfectly.
